I want to mix with disabledpersons because I know how it feels if people stare at you at clubs and parties. I do not go out a lot and rather stay on the farm and have a braai here with close friends that know my situation.

I have lupus and Parkinson's --both of which leave me physially disables, although at first sight some may not notice (I like to tell myself). I'd like to meet a gam who is also disabled who is interested in giving another person a chance to enter his life. . . . Let's see where we can go, okay?

I am a 34 year old single gay white male. I have worked in a school setting since I was 15 years old. I enjoy what I do very much. I have taken the challenges life has thrown at me and attempted to use them to my advantage. My mild Cerebral Palsy has helped me as I work with special education students. I currently work in a local middle school as a Program Aide in a 15 to 1 setting.
In December of 1998, I won the Michalberg Award, which is in recognition of my continued perseverance toward personal growth and respecting the individuality of others. It was an award given to me by GLYS (Gay and Lesbian Youth Services of Western New York).
I also volunteered at Woman’s and Children s Hospital of Buffalo in the adolescent unit. I was able to help children that had various health issues like CF. I saw children from age 2-17 die which is too young by any stretch of imagination! It was difficult yet rewarding. It was nice to help keep their minds off their sickness for the few hours I was able to stay with them.
So why did I put all this on here? I guess it is because for years I was ashamed of who I was! I was so embarrassed that I almost took my own life in 1997. As I child I was embarrassed to say I had CP, now I am proud that I can help others much worse of than me.I realize I could have been in a wheelchair or worse! Now I can tell students if you work hard and believe in yourself, you can do anything you put your mind to no matter what your limitations!
I was scared to say I was gay! My Catholic religion was a huge part of that fear. It is NOT a CHOICE to be gay. Even if being gay was a choice, why is it that SO MANY people care about the intimate relationship between 2 loving adults? Those people who say God is against homosexuality and you will go to hell! Ask yourself this question PLEASE! Will God judge me for loving UNCONDITIONALLY as He does, or YOU for your prejudice and hatred? As for the people that say Gay people are a bad influence on children, or worse yet, harm children---I have1 word IGNORANCE! Why do we have to be out anyway? Do me a favor, when you are at work1 day, keep track of how many times someone or YOURSELF has a conversation about your husband, wife, boy friend, girl friend, children, or just a date. If you don’t get it, then I can’t help you!
I am now proud to say if1 person reads this I can say, it’s ok to be gay, black, disabled, have cancer, etc .. . Last, if you don’t like me for who I am, what I look like, or what I stand for, then I guess you were not meant to be in my life anyway! God Bless!!

I'm a gay disabledperson with Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.) but I have never and will never let it get me down (I don't believe in pity parties). I'm an avid writer with lots to say, but that's not how I made my living while I could still work. I've only recently had to graduate to using a wheelchair part of the time; I'm quite mobile around the house. I experimented recently with match[----] and got no responses which didn't surprise me since I was quite honest about who I am and about my health issues. Consequently I decided that the best match for me is another disabled gay person and stumbled on this website. I'm hopeful in making new friends and maybe finding love again. I'm a true romantic with a big heart and would love to fall in love again if it should happen.

Life can be lonely at times even when you have loads of friends and relatives around. Therefore I would love to meet a nice guy abled or disabled, it does not matter as long as he respects my disability and my person as a whole. I think respect is a very important value. By the way, you can contact me either in english, dutch or french.
