Looking for friends... maybe more. Down to earth, masculine male. I enjoy dining out, traveling, going to the movies, all types of music, sharing a few drinks & laughs with my close friends. I really love the Latin Culture. I have friends that live in Mexico. I travel to Cuernavaca & Mexico City about 4 times per year. I enjoy the simple things in life. Not too much into the bar scene. Not into just ’hook-ups’ Sex is great but I truly feel & believe2 people can & should be able to connect in other ways. I’ve got a big heart and a great smile! Looking for a man to share my life with. Good days as well as bad. I want a man to do things with me, not just for me. I do use a chair but I’m very independant. If & when I do need help ... I ask! I have alot to offer the right guy.True love & friendship knows no distance, so feel free to drop me a line to say hi. Thanks for reading my profile. I look forward to hearing from you.
I don’t like the word ’disabled’ I refer to myself as limited. I use a chair due to the result of a car wreck 6 years ago.

On August 15th, 2004 I was in a car accident in which I suffered many injuries, including brain injuries. Considering the severity of my injuries I‘m not doing too bad. I‘m able to live a relatively normal life in which most people don‘t realize I‘m disabled until I tell them.
I hoping to meet friends or maybe even a partner that will accept me for who I am and that I can relate to.

I have always held a special place in my heart for "disabled " boys. I think it is because i find beauty in the imperfections of others. In this world where suffering makes people good. handicapped people are on average kinder, sweeter, more open and loving then their able bodied counterparts. On that note, I am ooking for real, genuine experiences with people of the same. Drop me a line for a chat, if you happen to be reading this.

I am now in year 9 from a traumtic head injury from a mtn. biking accident in 99’. As many people can become disabled due many types of head injuries, I know that there must be other Gay guys out there who understand me, even if on a basic level. Sometimes I may just need a little extra help, othertimes, just a kiss & hug from another who cares is just enough. I’m proudly & openly Gay, but I’m far from being dead! lol! And ofcourse, mem will be men! Peace!

I want to mix with disabled persons because I know how it feels if people stare at you at clubs and parties. I do not go out a lot and rather stay on the farm and have a braai here with close friends that know my situation.

I am a 34 year old single gay white male. I have worked in a school setting since I was 15 years old. I enjoy what I do very much. I have taken the challenges life has thrown at me and attempted to use them to my advantage. My mild Cerebral Palsy has helped me as I work with special education students. I currently work in a local middle school as a Program Aide in a 15 to 1 setting.
In December of 1998, I won the Michalberg Award, which is in recognition of my continued perseverance toward personal growth and respecting the individuality of others. It was an award given to me by GLYS (Gay and Lesbian Youth Services of Western New York).
I also volunteered at Woman’s and Children s Hospital of Buffalo in the adolescent unit. I was able to help children that had various health issues like CF. I saw children from age 2-17 die which is too young by any stretch of imagination! It was difficult yet rewarding. It was nice to help keep their minds off their sickness for the few hours I was able to stay with them.
So why did I put all this on here? I guess it is because for years I was ashamed of who I was! I was so embarrassed that I almost took my own life in 1997. As I child I was embarrassed to say I had CP, now I am proud that I can help others much worse of than me.I realize I could have been in a wheelchair or worse! Now I can tell students if you work hard and believe in yourself, you can do anything you put your mind to no matter what your limitations!
I was scared to say I was gay! My Catholic religion was a huge part of that fear. It is NOT a CHOICE to be gay. Even if being gay was a choice, why is it that SO MANY people care about the intimate relationship between 2 loving adults? Those people who say God is against homosexuality and you will go to hell! Ask yourself this question PLEASE! Will God judge me for loving UNCONDITIONALLY as He does, or YOU for your prejudice and hatred? As for the people that say Gay people are a bad influence on children, or worse yet, harm children---I have1 word IGNORANCE! Why do we have to be out anyway? Do me a favor, when you are at work1 day, keep track of how many times someone or YOURSELF has a conversation about your husband, wife, boy friend, girl friend, children, or just a date. If you don’t get it, then I can’t help you!
I am now proud to say if1 person reads this I can say, it’s ok to be gay, black, disabled, have cancer, etc .. . Last, if you don’t like me for who I am, what I look like, or what I stand for, then I guess you were not meant to be in my life anyway! God Bless!!

I’m gay and disabled. I live in a college town where the opportunity to meet people is scarce.I was born with CPwhich affects my right arm and both legs. It’s time to make new friends, both disabled, and people who are disabled friendly.

I am disabled and I was hoping to chat with someone that was also. The disability doesn 't matter to me. It seems to be better to get ideas from other people in1s situation. I like to chat when I can with others about their problems too so take it from there. Disabilities can cover a wide area for both parties envolved in a discussion such as this.

I am disabled from neropathy, fibromialgia, back injuries and arthritis. I live life to its fullest by traveling, and staying active. My cup is always half full. I found this site because it seems people do not understand that when you are disabled, you have bad days.
